The Arches | patio House
200 sqm
This house is composed of two floors and designed for a large family, balancing privacy and intimacy while maintaining a strong sense of openness, playfulness, and togetherness: creating spaces for the family to gather, alongside quiet corners to pause and be alone.
At the center of the house lies a unique patio framed by small arches. It is a protected outdoor living space that can be enjoyed even during stormy winter days while remaining connected to the outdoors.
When fully opened, it becomes a seamless extension of the home.
A double-sided fireplace connects the indoor living room with the patio lounge, creating a unique experience between inside and outside.
The patio void visually connects both floors, bringing natural light and greenery deep into the house.
The small arches define the home’s character, creating layers of enclosure and a dialogue between covered spaces and areas open to the sky.
80 sqm House | Full Renovation
A complete transformation of an old house, originally divided into small rooms, turned into an open space home with a master bedroom and a guest room.
The idea was to work with the existing house rather than start from scratch - keeping parts of the old structure and giving them new uses. One example is a small existing room that became a hidden storage room, designed to look like part of the kitchen cabinetry.
The house is filled with small details, interesting textures and rich materials, with a flexible design approach.
Garden house
80 sqm | From scratch to a home brought to Life
This house explores the primal act of building one’s own home by hand, while maintaining a refined architectural language and a distinct interior aesthetic. The result is a home that sits naturally within its surroundings and radiates a presence felt the moment you step inside.
Designed for creating memories and enjoying life, the house is deeply connected to its natural environment. Although surrounded by an open landscape, the design intentionally focuses on a smaller and more intimate outdoor space, centered around a patio that becomes the heart of the home.
A shared wall and openings between the kitchen and patio create a natural extension of the living space, encouraging gathering, cooking, eating, and spending time outside as one continuous experience. The home includes one bedroom and an open living area, both directly connected to the patio through large openings. This central patio becomes the core of the house, bringing light, air, and a quiet sense of connection to every room.
70 sqm | open-space mud house
Constructed from mud bricks and based on traditional Egyptian building techniques, the house was designed to withstand both the desert and the sea.
Every interior element, from the kitchen doors to the textiles, was designed specifically for the house.
Experiencing architecture in its most pure and primal form opened my heart to it. That project made me want to understand architecture more deeply, and eventually led me to study it formally. The spirit of that experience still lives within everything I create today.
Interior design & curation
Shams boutique Sinai
I found my way into design in a non-conventional way: opening Shams Boutique.
I designed the space around locality, natural tones, and a warm aesthetic that reflected the spirit of the boutique and its pieces. As it evolved through everyday life, I realized how deeply I loved interior design and the way spaces shape emotion and experience.
At 20, I traveled across Egypt collecting pieces for my first collection, guided by instinct and a deep connection to craft and material. Along the way, I collaborated with local artisans and designers, supporting independent craftsmanship in remote regions where these traditions are slowly fading.
It was the beginning of something far greater than I imagined.
